Coffey’s Geotechnics team have delivered the geotechnical investigation for AGL’s Gas Import Jetty Project which aims to provide an alternative source of gas supply for the growing south-east Australian Market.
Coffey completed Phase 1 of the offshore geotechnical investigation 2 years ago to assist with the foundation design of the proposed jetty upgrade and now have successfully delivered the Phase 2 geotechnical investigation and Acid Sulphate Soil assessment for design and construction of the onshore Nitrogen OSC Facility.
As part of this program, Coffey carried out geotechnical, environmental and hydrogeological investigations including offshore and onshore CPT and borehole drilling, geotechnical, groundwater and acid sulphate sampling and testing.
Construction is expected to commence in 2021.
