Chris Teese, Senior Draftsperson in Victoria celebrates 15 years tenure at Coffey
It is a cliché, but I really enjoy working at Coffey because of the awesome group of people who continually challenge themselves to provide quality service to our clients. I’m fortunate to work with some of the most talented, yet humble and amusing professionals at Coffey.
One of my most memorable projects was the first time I undertook a large scale soil and groundwater remediation system design project. This project was a significant professional leap as I had previously only worked on petroleum industry site monitoring projects.
I’m fortunate to work with some of the most talented, yet humble and amusing professionals at Coffey.
The project had a potential contamination site of a 5km radius after an underground white oil leak between a refinery and depot. At the time, the remediation and monitoring design was a first of its kind and involved a true collaboration between our engineers, the client, private land holders and external consultants. The Design phase was a steep learning curve, but I’m pleased to say the final product was a win-win for our clients and all stakeholders involved.
