202008 Bio Staff Brigette Lyons 191x103
Interview with
Brigitte Lyons
Senior Environmental Scientist

Diversity, that’s the best part of my job.  I’ve been part of such a broad range of projects over my 10 years at Coffey.

From learning what LNAPL (light nonaqueous-phase liquid) is and what it looks like in ground water to constructing the largest bio-pile known to Coffey – and my most memorable project, using an x-ray gun to monitor for arsenic at sites in Ballarat.  I’ve learnt so much over the last 10 years and will continue to develop my work profile across the many different fields of site assessment.

I’ve had the benefit of working out of the regional office in Geelong, but I’ve also spent some time at Abbotsford, so feel I’ve really got the best of both worlds.

Mostly I have enjoyed the people I’ve worked with over the years. I’ve had the benefit of working out of the regional office in Geelong, but I’ve also spent some time at Abbotsford, so feel I’ve really got the best of both worlds.

Thank you to all the staff at Coffey for making the last 10 years so enjoyable.
