Coffey form part of a team who were awarded ‘Best Overall Winner’ in The New Zealand Society for Earthquake Engineering 2016 Earthquake Strengthening Awards last week.
This award recognised the success of the Housing New Zealand Corporation (HNZC) Earthquake Prone Building Program – where Coffey provided project management services for the assessment of seismic risk for the property portfolio, and also led property upgrades to ensure common performance standards.
Coffey’s Regional General Manager New Zealand Andrew Mailer explained that we’re proud to be part of this important community project that is ensuring the safety of social housing.
“Our team worked extremely hard to deliver the best possible outcomes for the effected communities and it’s gratifying to be acknowledged,” Andrew said.
“I’d also like to extend a big thank you to Coffey’s project partners Jacobs, Architecture Cubed and WT Partnerships,” he said.
