Managed by Coffey in partnership with IDP Education, the Australia Awards Cambodia seek to promote knowledge, educational links and enduring ties between Australia, Cambodia and the global community.
In the 2013 selection round, 55 Awards will be granted to individuals from Non-Government Organisations, Civil Society Organisations and the private sector.
The Awards are closely aligned with the Australia – Cambodia Joint Aid Program Strategy 2010 – 2015 and support the priority areas of:
- rural development, and
- law and justice
Australia Awards Cambodia offers scholarships in the Public and Open categories. The Open category is available to all Cambodians, while the Public sector category is available only to officials of the Royal Government of Cambodia. The majority of Award recipients undertake study at Master’s level (course work only), while a handful complete Doctorates (PhD level) in Australia.
